DREAM CHIEF — "LOVE ME BACK"
Absorb. is thrilled to once again release a new single "Love Me Back" from rising electro-pop duo DREAM CHIEF. Released as their fourth official single, "Love Me Back" represents a powerful, emotional turn in the duo's musical playbook, and a wonderful counterpart to their hit singles "Novocaine" and "Cant Shake U."
In order to create visuals that felt both beautiful and obsessive (like the song), we photographed numerous kinds of flowers through concave glass structures filled with water to ensure rich, tactile in-camera distortion of the images. The images were then digitally manipulated for color, motion, and depth. We love the results, which seem to combine a dark physical beauty with electronic edge.
"Love Me Back" was released in June 2018, and many have called the song Dream Chief's best yet.
